Can we call #zoom panic, the zoomies?? 🙈
We got thrown out of a zoom call session yesterday 😝.
Nudged some wrong ends We guess.
Well, to be honest after hours of #zoom #meetings We were kinda on edge.
Brutal!
Market conditions, #Efficiency, #Performances, and #Productivity as the reasons for the #Layoff.
It got segregated coz of the volume and the way it was handled. In the last 12 months, #startup layoffs have been really alarming.
👉 As per Statista, in Nov'21 only, tech startups laid off more than 90k employees worldwide.
👉 80 million people lost their #jobs in Asia only
👉 The unemployment rate was 15% percent USA and 8% in India during this period.
We think some of it can be narrowed down to
⚡ the lack of top #talent around us,
⚡ we often desperately #hire the wrong only to let them be fired in a few months.
⚡ The race to hire the right top talent is too competitive for startups and we are also part of that race.🚀
