Video Editor Responsibilities:
Meeting with the CEO or Director to set the vision.
Reviewing raw materials to determine shot inventory.
Manipulation of film and video footage using modern editing techniques.
Maintaining continuity by moving shots according to scene value.
Trimming the footage and putting a rough project together.
Insert dialogue, sound effects, music, graphics and special effects.
Ensuring the project is a logical sequence.
Consulting with the director during the project.
Making the final cut for broadcast.
