There are many different types of marketing - both online and offline. It can therefore be difficult to know which type of marketing is suitable for your business. The industry your business is associated with can also have a large impact on the marketing you choose. For example, a company within the steel manufacturing industry may have a completely different approach to marketing, then a company that sells gardening tools and equipment online.

3. Is your business B2B or B2C?


Next, you should look at your business and assess if it is B2B or B2C. Business-to-business marketing can often differ in relation to business to customer. This is because you are appealing to a completely different range of people.

5. Consider your branding


Lastly, you should look at your branding. Branding is an essential part of marketing, and it can affect what methods you use, and how you create the marketing. On some platforms, for example, it is more difficult to incorporate your branding.
